Kigali Heights Development, a USD 16M dual tower class A office and retail block, was recently selected as an example of best practice by the City of Kigali.
The development was chosen for key features including:
- Site analysis and careful considerations to the Kigali city Master Plan and Kimihurura subarea principle
- Design concept
- Urban integration and corner solution
- Clear explanation and good graphical representation
- Access strategy.
Kigali Heights was Fusion’s first major real estate project in Rwanda, following an agreement signed in January 2013. The deal was the culmination of a thorough competitive tendering process where Kigali Heights competed against a Chinese construction company for the development of an 11,000 square meter prime parcel of land, in accordance with the Kigali Master Plan.
